HOW TO ADJUST BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST ON MICROSOFT PICTURE MANAGER

How has been your day?

Often, lots of Microsoft Picture Manger users have been experiencing difficulties when it comes to how to adjust brightness and contrast of their pictures. Well, what one doesn’t know could appear as a “big dea”. Today, I will be teaching you how to go about this.

To do this, kindly follow the steps below:

Hide All

  1. Click Edit Pictures. This can be seen on the Formatting Tool Bar.
  2. In the Edit Pictures task pane, under Edit using these tools, do one of the following:
    • To automatically correct the brightness levels of the picture, under Correct brightness automatically, click Auto Brightness.
    • To manually adjust brightness, move the Brightness slider or enter a number in the box next to the slider.
    • To manually adjust contrast, move the Contrast slider or enter a number in the box next to the slider.
    • To manually adjust midtones, under Advanced settings move the Midtone slider or enter a number in the box next to the slider.
    • To manually adjust highlights, click More next to Advanced Settings, and then move the Highlight slider or enter a number in the box next to the slider.
    • To manually adjust shadows, click More next to Advanced Settings, and then move the Shadow slider or enter a number in the box next to the slider.

Note    To undo an edit, click the Undo command on the Edit menu. The edits to the pictures will not be saved until you save them.
