Course Overview

This training course teaches students about the indispensable core topics
required to use the AutoCAD ® Mechanical software. Through a hands – on, practice – intensive curriculum, students acquire the knowledge needed to accelerate the mechanical design process.   AutoCAD Mechanical software takes productivity one step further for mechanical Cad users by introducing automated geometry creation, semi automated drafting and validation tools that can shave hours of traditional 2D drafting times. These tools also further increase productivity by automating the design iteration process including automatically updating drawing views.

Course Objectives

At the end of this training, students will  the basic skills necessary to become proficient with
creating professional 2D mechanical drawings, designing, and drafting using AutoCAD Mechanical.
After completing this course, students should be able to:
•Identify and use the key components of the AutoCAD
Mechanical user interface.
•Use the fundamental features of AutoCAD Mechanical.
•Use the precision drafting tools in AutoCAD Mechanical to develop accurate technical engineering drawings.
•Demonstrate a high level of comfort and confidence with AutoCAD Mechanical through hands-on practice.
