Autocad Mechanical

Course Overview

This training course teaches students about the indispensable core topics required to use the AutoCAD ® Mechanical software. Through a hands – on, practice – intensive curriculum, students acquire the knowledge needed to accelerate the mechanical design process.   AutoCAD Mechanical software takes productivity one step further for mechanical Cad users by introducing automated geometry creation, semi automated drafting and validation tools that can shave hours of traditional 2D drafting times. These tools also further increase productivity by automating the design iteration process including automatically updating drawing views.

Course Objectives

The primary objective of this courseware is for students to learn the basic functionality of AutoCAD Mechanical software and through practice, learn how to use Mechanical function inside AutoCAD Mechanical software. After completing this courseware, students will be able to:
  • Understanding the AutoCAD Mechanical designs concept
  • Using Mechanical basic Power tools for drafting
  • Parts editing using Power edit function
  • Placing dimension using Power dimension and Automatic dimension tools
  • Creating block function library
  • Creating and Inserting Mechanical title block
  • Bill of Material and part list creation
