Revit Architecture Training course teaches you to master the use of Revit’s BIM platform which works the way architects and interior designers think. From Preliminary Design through Design Development, and into Construction Documents, the program streamlines the design process with a central 3D model. Changes made in one view update across all views and on the printable sheets. This offers you increased efficiency of up to 500% from traditional CAD software such as AutoCAD. The ability to use Revit Architecture is a necessary skill.

The Autodesk Revit software is a powerful Building Information Modeling (BIM) program that works the way architects think. The program streamlines the design process through the use of a central 3D model, where changes made in one view update across all views and on the printable sheets.
This training course is designed to teach you the Autodesk Revit functionality as you would work with it throughout the design process. You begin by learning about the user interface and basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools. Then you learn design development tools including how to model walls, doors, windows, floors,
ceilings, stairs and more.

Finally, you learn the processes that take the model to the construction
documentation phase. Since building projects are extremely complex, the Autodesk Revit software is also complex. The objective of the Autodesk Revit Architecture Fundamentals training course is to enable students to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. FAQ

Isn’t Revit just for architects, not landscape architects?

In the same way that AutoCAD Architecture is just for architects. Have you ever heard of AutoCAD Landscape Architecture? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Autodesk does not have a program specifically for landscape architects.

What cannot be done in Revit?

There are limitations to almost any software, including Revit. In general, it is rather lacking in tools for integrating civil engineering, including calculating stormwater systems, creating exaggerated sections (profiles), and complete control over grading topography.

Why use Revit?

There are many advantages to using BIM software, and Revit is just one option. However, if you work in a firm (or collaborate frequently with a firm) that already uses Revit, you have the most to gain by using it.
